Economics was initially a daunting subject for me but ever since going to Mr Ho's class, I’ve found it easier to approach the subject with confidence. My foundation in economics was in bad shape when I first approached Mr. Ho just before my prelims. However he was more than happy to help me out despite the fact that A levels was only a few months away. Using his past experience as a school teacher, he was able to teach us how to frame our answers according to what Cambridge examiners were looking for. He is also very approachable and welcomes all questions as he takes time to address each question. His approach to teaching is also very conducive for learning as he injects fun into lessons to nurture a passion for economics in students at the end of the day. Even though I had a hard time bridging the gap in foundation between me and my peers, he never gave up on me, and I will always count myself lucky for having found a tutor like him.
Having no economics background in JC I found that Mr.Ho has helped me immensely in my undergraduate microeconomics module. He is able to cater his teaching style according to the syllabus and while also breaking it down simply in a way that is more easily understood for novices.
