Economics EE |
1. Not familiar with most of the economic topics as EE topic is decided in the early part of the IB diploma study.
2. Some EE topics of worth like international trade , exchange rate, BOP, DD side and SS side policies only covered in 2nd year of IB study. But topic of EE decided in year 1 (year 6 in Acs Independent).
3. Many tutors EE supervisors are full time teachers and are not researchers nor have industries or public experience therefore guidance is limited in scope.
4. Proposals are difficult to submit as students are lost and probably never done proposal in their lives during year 1 of the diploma study.

1. Generally not a major concern for students but the need to have an indepth knowledge of the topic (especially in demand supply production cost, market structure etc) sometimes may not be found in text book.
